Mybank Ltd, a private bank, is to use the Equation solution
from Misys to support its ambitious expansion plans. Equation will allow Mybank to enjoy
centralised risk management and profitability analysis – crucial if the company’s growth
programme is to be undertaken successfully.
The bank has also signed an agreement with one of the leading IT outsourcing experts in
the region, Si3, to implement the programme on the ground. It is the first time that a bank
in the region has implemented Misys Equation through an outsourcing route.
Mybank chose Misys Equation because of its reputation in the region and because it is
already well established in Pakistan. By using Misys Equation, Mybank can now get a
real-time view of its customers across all geographic locations and business lines and
obtain accurate and timely consolidated management information.
The Misys Equation family of systems is used by hundreds of banks in more than 70
countries. It benefits from a unique combination of unrivalled experience and ongoing
investment by Misys, which means that it is proven in use and technologically up-to-date.
It is a highly scalable system than can be installed with as few as five users or can cater
for millions of accounts and hundreds of thousands of transactions per day.
